A 5-Session Journey into the Minds of Great Composers
 
This 5-session class will elicit appreciation for both seasoned opera lovers and beginners.
It intends to excite the appetites of all those who especially love Italian Opera by gaining
insights into the minds and souls of the composers whose works still affect us today.
Now in its 19th season, this is not a repeat course.
There is no prerequisite for newcomers.
 
Fall Term 2025 Classes will run on Tuesdays from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.
Starting September 16th and ending on November 11th.
 
The 5 classes will meet every other week as follows:
• September 16th - Musical Unity in Opera
• September 30th - Delightful & Demanding Duets in Opera
• October 7th - Terrific Trios in Opera
• October 28th – Quality Quartets in Opera
• Nov. 11th – Celebrating Veteran’s Day with Appropriate Music & Prep for MET Dress
 
November 21st - Trip to MET Opera Dress Rehearsal of “Andrea Chenier”
 
Tuition is $155 for non-members and $140 for members, and it must be paid in advance.
