Celebrate St. Joseph's Day with us at the museum.

We will have the traditional St. Joseph's Day table along with a presentation Celebrating St. Joseph’s Day in Sicily and in the Italian American Community by our very own Lou Barella.

Although St. Joseph’s Day is celebrated as a sacred and secular holiday (“Father’s Day”) throughout Italy, it has special significance in Sicily. This presentation will highlight how it is celebrated there as well as in some Italian American Communities.  You will see simple and elaborate St. Joseph’s tables as well as the food that makes the day so special. The photos, video and music will both inspire and entertain you, causing you to experience “La Festa di San Giuseppe in Sicilia Bedda”!
