Carnevale di Venezia

Join Photographer/lecturer Anita Sanseverino for this special online presentation of "Carnevale a Venezia," at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum. Learn from her talk on the history and traditions of "Carnevale", the wearing of masks and how this became part of everyday life in Venice.

Anita Sanseverino's mission has always been to share the diversity of Italian culture through her photographs and lectures. By going beyond the surface to learn as much as possible about the background of her subjects, she enriches her work, infusing a sense of historical context into the images she captures. Her immersion in her subject is obvious in her passion and enthusiasm as she shares all that she has discovered, as that immersion includes her personal experiences while participating in the events she is lecturing about.
